The OBDII error code P2446 indicates that the secondary air injection system pump on bank 2 is stuck in the on position. The system consists of an air pump, valves, and hoses that work together to inject air into the exhaust system.
The air pump is typically located on the side of the engine or near the air filter housing and is connected to the exhaust system via hoses. The pump is controlled by the engine control module (ECM) which receives input from various sensors to determine when to activate the pump.
